PAINTED HELMET COMMISSIONS

The sports helmets I paint are one of the more affordable ways to own an original painting by me. Each one is hand painted with high quality acrylic paints and finished with a gloss varnish. Hand painted sports helmets make great collectibles that don't require too much space to display!

If you have your own helmet you'd like painted, you can mail it to me, otherwise we can order one online. I can paint on helmets that are already signed.

Together we can find the perfect image. I paint what I can see so I work the best from the highest resolution images possible.

Once I receive the helmet and we select the image to be painted, I will begin. I will keep you updated along the way. 

The cost to have a helmet painted starts at $2,500 for a single posed player. Multiple images on a helmet will cost more to have done. I require a 50% installment before I start the painting and the balance upon completion. Shipping charges may apply. Because these are custom projects, I cannot accept returns on painted helmets.

Art is something that takes a lot of time and patience and should never be rushed. Typically you should expect at least 8-12 weeks from the time I receive the helmet to the time the original work of art is complete. Sometimes it's quicker, sometimes it is longer. Usually I have many orders lined up at once and prioritize from the time I receive each order. If there is a particular date you would like a painting by I will try my best to work with you, although I cannot always guarantee it. A painting only leaves my studio when it is at the highest of standards I hold each piece of art to! 

As stated above, these helmets are painted with acrylics and coated with a clear acrylic varnish. They are meant for display only.
