PAINTED FOOTBALL COMMISSIONS

A great option to starting your collection of original sports art is by commissioning an original painting on a football. Like the helmets, painted footballs don't require much space to display and make great gifts as well. Commission one to commemorate your favorite player or moment in football. Each one is painted with acrylic paint and then sealed in with a varnish to protect it.

If you already have your own football, great, you can send that and I can paint it. If not, I can help you in acquiring an authentic one online.

This is where you can choose the subject! Whether its your favorite player or a particular play or catch from a big game, we can work together to find the right image. High resolution images make the best reference photos when painting.

Once I receive the football and we select an image to be painted, I will take it from there. I will keep you updated on the progress and how it is coming along as well as when you should expect it to be complete.

The cost to have a football painted starts at $2,500 for a single posed player. Multiple images on a football will cost more to have done. I require a 50% installment before I start the painting and the balance upon completion. Shipping charges may apply. Because these are custom projects, I cannot accept returns on painted footballs. 

Art is something that takes a lot of time and patience and should never be rushed. Typically you should expect at least 8-12 weeks from the time I receive the football to the time the original work of art is complete. Sometimes it's quicker, sometimes it is longer. Usually I have many orders lined up at once and prioritize from the time I receive each order. If there is a particular date you would like a painting by I will try my best to work with you, although I cannot always guarantee it. A painting only leaves my studio when it is at the highest of standards I hold each piece of art to!
